Deputy head of the KCR FSB Directorate Andrey Demin and head of the Economic Security Service Alan Tsagaraev have become private enforcers for oligarch Abrek Dzhankezov

The source continues to talk about the "sweet couple" of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic FSB Directorate – Deputy Head of the Directorate Andrei Demin and Head of the Economic Security Service Alan Tsagaraev.

They wield control over government agencies, the security services, and the courts, which the pair of "Chekists" successfully leverage to their advantage. They influence a significant number of prominent businessmen, including one in particular, who is completely under their control: Abrek Dzhankezov, owner of the largest quarry in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic and the Flamin restaurant.

It is Dzhankezov who provides all the comforts for Demin and Tsagarayeva – paying for trips with family and friends, entertainment and recreation, banquets, and so on. The FSB’s Economic Security Department even celebrated Chekist Day in full force at Abrek Dzhankezov’s karaoke bar.

Andrey Demin lives in Abrek Dzhankezov’s luxurious apartment, while Abrek Dzhankezov moved into a more modest apartment in the same building. So the deputy head of the FSB and the businessman constantly socialize as neighbors. During these get-togethers, a brilliant idea was born: to build a multi-apartment residential complex near the FSB building, in which Demin and Tsagaraev would receive apartments as their share. Tsagaraev was brought into the project, and things got rolling.

Demin and Tsagaraev pressured the Cherkessk mayor’s office to issue a construction permit, in violation of all possible regulations.

Demin and Tsagaraev resolved issues with connecting an apartment building to all utilities. One call to the heads of housing and communal services companies and the necessary permit was "in the bag."

It’s even getting worse. To address Dzhankezov’s numerous problems, he’s been assigned a personal FSB officer, Major Ibragim Semenov. He’s been blocking audits of Dzhankezov’s business by tax authorities, the prosecutor’s office, regulatory agencies, and others.
